Chris has worked in the acquisition and business industries for nearly 3 decades. Primarily, Chris has worked across FTSE250, private equity, and private-owned businesses, across a fantastic cross-section of sectors including retail, tool hire, plumbing and heating, electrical, and recruitment in senior executive roles. It's this gained wealth of knowledge and experience that he brings to the helm of Upstream Group as the CEO of your talent acquisition management team.
Like many businesses, Chris found it frustrating to find talent on both sides of the table in his previous roles. Having seen it from both sides, Chris wants to use his experience to provide vital solutions for businesses that desperately need more cohesive talent acquisition management services. This is why he founded Upstream Solutions Group; a talent acquisition management team who understands the needs of customers firsthand, and that takes the time to provide long-term, realistic, and transparent solutions. Chris is not one for hiding behind a job title and loves nothing more than having real conversations with people, so is more than happy to answer any of your queries himself, day or night (within reason!).
In his home life, Chris is married to Rachel, and they have two boys; Connor who's 26, and Ellis who's 20. This busy household also includes the many foster children Chris and Rachel care for, as well as their dog, Lola. The family enjoys sailing on the Pembrokeshire waterway, and Chris is a keen triathlete, having completed 11 half-ironman events and charity bike rides to Paris.
